Do I need an appointment?

How long does a smog check take?
About 15 minutes for most vehicles. You’re welcome to wait.
Is there somewhere comfortable to wait?
Yes — a clean waiting area with free WiFi and coffee.
What should I bring?
Your DMV renewal notice if you have it, though we can look up your vehicle without it.

Are you a STAR station?
Yes — we’re STAR certified, so we can smog DMV-directed vehicles as well as standard renewals.
How do I know if I need a STAR station?
Your DMV renewal notice will say a STAR station is required. If it does, bring it here.
Why was my car sent to a STAR station?
The DMV directs a portion of vehicles to STAR stations for added oversight. It isn’t a sign of a problem.
